This is not the real Imax B6AC dual charger from SKYRC. I thank many of you like The RC Hunter,Wakey Wakey RC, for pointing out the fake charger from China. The fake chargers are found on wish.com, geek.com, and tomtop which is an owner of those companies. please watch out for eBay as well, some sellers have false advertised. So far Amazon looks good to buy the SKYRC Imax. So please guys unless you know you have the real one which says SKYRC and has a hologram scratch off sticker in the back. Then do not buy or use, it will over charge batteries and over heat. It can cause fire. What I didnt mention in the video is mine started to glitch and acted like it was shorting out, it would not charge the battery and beeping and the display was flickering. I didnt like that the wall plug end was missing the ground wire pin. I just cant stand that these companies try telling you its the original and it is a fake. they also have now noticed the company is not available on wish anymore. so I must not be the only one. fake products like this one ship all over the world everyday and needs to stop. Its not a fake watches or sun glasses. Its and fire waiting to happen to you and your family. Thanks for your time and I know there's a lot of these clones that work great. I just want these companies to be truthful and they need better quality control. This videos shows how to calibrate your SkyRC B6 mini & B6AC V2 charger successfully. But first you need to upgrade your firmware first: B6 mini firmware: 🤍 B6AC V2 firmware: 🤍 Download the software to upgrade your B6mini charger. Better to extract it onto desktop Connect the B6 mini charger to your computer, upgrade the charger as the video shows. It’s normal when you see the notice "DC IN TOO LOW" during upgrading, just ignore it, and do not disconnect the connection. After upgrading, pls Load Factory Reset. Calibration is only available with a 6S battery, so pls prepare a 6S battery first. Check the voltage of each cell first. Make sure voltage of each cell is higher than 3.9V. If it's 4.2V per cell, that would be better. Connect the 6S battery to the charger’s balance port. Find the BATT METER, press ENTER button to check the voltage. Then press and hold ENTER button for around 6 seconds, entering into the calibration process. Start calibrating according to the voltage tested by multi-meter. After the calibration is done, press and hold the ENTER button for around 6 seconds. If you've finished above procedure successfully, congratulations.

Do this at your own risk. This may or may not work for you and could render your charger inoperable. Not knowing how accurate the clone imax B6AC voltage setting is, I decided to go into the calibration mode to check the charger voltage when it reads the voltage of a battery with a known voltage. Unplug the unit, press and hold the decrease (blue down arrow) and the start (green) buttons. Without releasing your hold, power on the charger and hold the buttons for 4 seconds or so, it will go into the mode where you can adjust the charger's reading of your battery voltage. Plug your battery with the known voltage (as measured against an accurate volt meter) into the output positive and negative. The charger will read your battery voltage. You can now adjust the charger voltage to the voltage of your battery. I use a 18650 battery for this adjustment. By all means, get the authentic version of this charger. The LCD readout on the clone version is kind of wash out and you never know how precise are the other functions of the clone charger. Do check the individual cells if you use the balance charge function to see that they are indeed balance charged. Click here to subscribe to this channel: 🤍
